Meet Saad Mirza

Founder, Employment Lawyer, Employee Advocate
The Lawyer Who Actually Knows What It's Like to Be an Employee

Unlike most employment lawyers who went straight from university to law school, Saad brings something unique to employment law: he's been in your shoes. Before becoming a lawyer, Saad worked over a dozen different jobs across industries—from customer service representative and product specialist to court administrator, recruitment consultant, and corporate training manager

Real Employee Experience Across Every Level:

Frontline Worker: Customer service at call centers, retail product specialist at The Source

Mid-Management: Samsung field marketing representative, assistant program coordinator

Corporate Professional: Commercial leasing administrator at Rexall, corporate training manager

Government Employee: Court administrator with the City of Mississauga

Claims Professional: Claims management services at RSA Insurance

This isn’t just legal theory—Saad understands workplace dynamics, corporate politics, management pressures, and employee challenges from lived experience at every organizational level.

Then Came the Legal Career:

After being called to the Ontario Bar, Saad spent years as in-house counsel at major corporations including Cineplex and Huawei Technologies, where he often managed painful layoffs and witnessed firsthand how employees were treated during difficult transitions.

This corporate insider perspective—combined with his own employee journey—revealed the urgent need for employment lawyers who truly understand both sides.

Why This Matters for Your Case:

• He’s negotiated as an employee seeking better terms and conditions
• He’s been managed, promoted, and restructured in real workplace scenarios
• He’s seen corporate decision-making from the inside as in-house counsel
• He speaks your language—literally and figuratively (5 languages: English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, French)

The Difference Experience Makes:

When Saad reviews your termination letter, he knows what the corporate lawyers were thinking when they wrote it. When he negotiates your severance, he understands the business pressures your employer faces. When he fights your wrongful dismissal claim, he’s drawing on years of being both employee and legal counsel.

Professional Credentials:

• Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario since 2020
• 10+ years combined employee and legal experience
• Specialized training in negotiation (Stitt Feld Handy Course)
• Corporate and employment law expertise from Bridge Law and major in-house roles

Outside the Office

Saad is a father, a basketball coach, an automotive enthusiast, and a lover of travel, cooking, and languages.

He brings the same passion and energy to his practice that he brings to mentoring youth and building community—because he knows what it means to work hard, support a family, and fight for what’s fair.
